Buyers and Realtors take note:
All cities in Johnson County, KS, Jackson County, Clay County, and Platte County in Missouri REQUIRE a Master Mechanical License and a permit to be pulled for any chimney relining, repair, or hearth appliance installation work. This is a special contractor license, also known as an HVAC License issued by Johnson County, KS, Kansas City, Missouri, Independence, MO and Raytown, MO. Please call if you'd like more information.
Be sure your contractor has this license if any repairs are needed. Note: We are the only chimney contracting company in the greater K.C. area with this license.
If you need to cancel, please do so at least 24 business hours in advance of service. We will bill for service in full for cancellations with less than 24 hours notice.
TRIP CHARGE: A trip charge may apply to areas out side our normal service area.
SCAFFOLD may be necessary in order to access tall chimneys or chimneys in the center of the house. If necessary, there will be an additional charge for this service. Please send us a photo of the house and chimneys so we can see if this is necessary.
ESTIMATES: We must do our own inspection in order to provide an estimate for any repairs because we often find different things than other chimney companies find. We must do a Level II inspection in order to provide an estimate. Written by Marge Padgitt, CCS, NFI, president of HearthMasters.
