Must be CSIA Certified. Work for a busy chimney contracting company: We do chimney sweeping and inspections, dryer vent cleaning, Fire Investigations, and consultations. Must be able to climb ladders and scaffold and work on roofs. Must be able to do heavy lifting. Mask and hard hat required for some work. Must be reliable and have own transportation to our office. We provide uniforms. Must wear steel-toed shoes. Must be reliable and have own transportation to our Independence office. Must have CSIA Certification. Normal work days are Monday - Friday. Lead Mason:
Non-smokers only.
Experienced lead mason wanted to do chimney restoration work, pointing, rebuilding, and new construction using brick, block, and natural stone. Must be able to climb ladders and scaffold and work on roofs. Must be able to do heavy lifting. Mask and hard hat required for some work. Must be reliable and have own transportation to our office. We provide uniforms. Must wear steel-toed shoes. Must be reliable and have own transportation to our Independence office. Normal work days are Monday - Friday. Opportunity for advancement. Gas Hearth Technician:
Non-smokers only.
Experienced gas hearth appliance technician wanted full time for busy chimney contracting company. Service our clients the greater Kansas City area. Must be NFI Certified with at least five years experience. Service, clean, and repair gas fireplace inserts, gas fireplaces, gas logs, and gas freestanding stoves. Also assist on other projects as needed. Must have own vehicle. We pay for mileage. Part time to full time usually 8 am - 5 pm Mon - Fri. Send resume and portfolio to hearthmastersboss@gmail.com
Scheduler/Dispatcher: Part time
Work from home. Take phone calls and messages, schedule appointments with customers for chimney sweeping, inspections, and estimates. Must be familiar with Excel, Word, Publisher, G-Mail, Google Calendar, and have good customer service skills. Accuracy is very important. Minimum three years experience required. Associates degree or higher preferred but not required. an aptitude test is required.
We are a busy chimney service and contracting company. Due to the Pandemic, we no longer work in our office, but that could change in the future. Some reading and training is required as this position requires some knowledge of chimneys and fireplaces.
Work Monday - Friday 10 am - 3 pm. Longer hours may be required in the Fall.
Salary commensurate with experience.
