House Pressure and CO
Testing Services
House
Pressure Problems and wind-induced pressure problems can cause smoking
fireplaces and wood stoves, CO backup into the house from furnaces, hot water
heaters, and gas logs or inserts, and cold air drafts and drafty chimneys.
We offer two testing methods for house pressure
tests.
-
Visual Testing: Our technician will check the house
visually and by opening and closing doors, checking fireplace draft, etc. We
are usually pretty accurate and know the signs of negative air pressure in a
home. Corrective equipment is sized according to the square footage of
the home, number of doors and windows, and number of fans in the
house. In most cases, we can figure the correct size equipment with
this information alone.
Free with chimney cleaning or other maintenance, otherwise
a $99 fee will apply.
_______________________________________
$175 for the first floor and basement, $50 per floor for each
additional floor.
Carbon
Monoxide (CO) Testing:
-
We offer CO testing of gas logs, gas
burning inserts, hot water heaters, furnaces, or other appliances. If
notified in advance, we will check for CO at the time you have your furnace
or fireplace flue cleaned at no additional charge. Otherwise, a $99
fee will apply.
