CHIMNEY & FIREPLACE RESTORATION | MASONRY HEATERS & OVENS | VENTILATION | INVESTIGATIONS
All of the cities in the greater Kansas City area require an HVAC, Craftsman, or Class DM Mechanical License in order to install flue liners, install hearth appliances, or do chimney repair or installation. To date, HearthMasters is the only chimney contractor with this license. Gene Padgitt is our license holder and he is licensed in Raytown, Lee's Summit, Independence, Gladstone, Johnson County, and Kansas City, Missouri. Other cites recognize the license. The counties of Jackson and Clay also require licensing.
You may check the websites below for a list of licensed contractors:

While our company may be small by average standards, we are the largest chimney restoration company in the Midwest with 16 employees. You can be assured that you will receive the highest level of professionalism and service in the industry. We continually strive to improve our technical knowledge and level of expertise by attending annual events such as the National Chimney Sweep Guild Conference, the Hearth, Patio, and Barbecue Association Conference, the Midwest Chimney Safety Council Conference, Masonry Heater Association Annual Meeting and the Johnson County Licensing Training Programs offered twice per year. We also teach at many of these events. The bottom line is - we know chimneys, masonry heaters, and bake ovens!
