About the MCSC

Up CSIA Testing 2007 Conference 2006 Conference

Our purposes:

1. To educate the public about chimney safety, proper use of fireplaces and wood stoves, firewood purchase, and how to avoid chimney fires and carbon monoxide poisoning.  We do seminars for public groups for a nominal fee.  Please contact us if you would like information on having a seminar in your town.

2. Professional Education for FIREMEN, FIRE INVESTIGATORS, INSURANCE ADJUSTERS, HOME INSPECTORS, AND PROFESSIONAL CHIMNEY SWEEPS/TECHNICIANS by experts in the field. 

We have experts in the industry that are available to do educational seminars specifically targeted to your group.

3. Establish a line of communication with related trades so we can work better together.

4. Encourage building and repair of chimneys according to the NFPA 211, International Codes, and and local codes.

5. Establish city and state chapters for local trade networking and public education.
