Current Employment Opportunities at EMP Enterprises, Inc.

Ceiling and Wall Cleaning: Part-time 1-3 days per week. Looking for neat, clean cut, friendly people. Usually night work from midnight - 6 am. Janitorial or contracting experience a plus. Most of the work is in the KC area, but we do some travel to other cites as well. Great job for a college student or someone who needs some extra money.

Qualifications:
Must have a high-school diploma or higher.
Vo-tech education or college education is helpful.
No felony convictions and you must be bondable.
Janitorial or handyman experience helpful
Must be CSIA Certified (we can arrange for testing)
Must have a valid driver's license
Must have own transportation

Chimney Sweep/Inspector - Chimney Repair Assistant: We provide all chimney cleaning and inspection equipment needed including truck, brushes, poles, vacuum, tarps, Chim-Scan camera, scrapers, and other tools. Must be CSIA Certified. If not certified, we can help you get certified. Work year-round.

Qualifications:
Must have a high-school diploma or higher.
Vo-tech education or college education is helpful.
No felony convictions and you must be bondable.
Handyman, contractor, or roofing experience helpful.
Must be CSIA Certified (we can arrange for testing)
Must have a valid driver's license
Cannot be afraid of heights

Job duties include:
Inspection of the interior and exterior of the chimney visually and with the Chim-Scan camera.
Fill out inspection report and if damages are found, measurements for estimating purposes.
Sweep fireplace, wood stove, wood insert, and furnace flues.
Install chimney covers and sell fireplace accessories.
Do minor repairs such as tuckpointing fireplaces and repairing crowns.
Assist our crew on site for major repairs including relining, chimney restoration, tear down and rebuilding.
Assist with gutter guard installations.

Good pay and benefits for the right person!

Gutter guard installer: in the greater Kansas City area. Full-time position. Must have some contractor experience and be able to work with tools and off of ladders and roofs. Vo-tech education a plus. Will also do other jobs as needed such as assisting with chimney repairs and moving freight. Good pay and benefits for the right person!
